“I can already hear the music playing, the friends laughing, and the fun that will be had in this beautiful bright and open farmhouse kitchen. There was once a large, dark wall that separated the living area from the kitchen. What a huge difference opening up that wall made in the flow of the space. It was a dream to be a part of this dramatic transformation.”

A second home becomes primary home, for an Atlanta couple and their pup.
The Design Story
This was a collaboration project with the talented Hutchcroft Homes. The original layout had a large wall that separated the living room from the dining room kitchen area. We completely reconfigured the kitchen, allowing for a new intro in the renovated master bedroom, and a large island now facing into the newly opened living space. This room, that used to be completely divided, now has this amazing open feel. We also designed a separated bar area near the living room. One detail not to be missed is the bifold bar window that opens out onto the screen porch. Who can resist walk up bar service?
