The Design Story

We envisioned a kitchen that felt both modern and timeless. To achieve this aesthetic, we took classic elements, including natural walnut, warm brass, and calacatta marble, and reimagined and reshaped them in a sleek, contemporary design. We implemented mixed finish cabinetry with slim shaker doors and dramatic marble veining — fresh concepts that captivate us. Since ensuring functionality is also key in any kitchen design, an array of organizers and pullouts were integrated into the cabinetry. Large porcelain slabs allow seamless integration with the surrounding design, spanning the entire surface area in the kitchen, as well as the backsplash and the front of the alcove range hood. Kitchens truly are the heart of the home and where everyone seems to land during gatherings. The layout of this kitchen fosters this sentiment with a custom dining table connected to the side of the island. Keeping the entire family in mind, including our four-legged companions, we incorporated a dedicated feeding station nestled at the end of the island. Lastly, to add a little wow factor and a touch of coziness, a water vapor fireplace was built into the back of the island, allowing a cohesive transition into the living area.
