Co-Owner & President

JR Allred was first hired as the Assistant Operations Manager at Dalton Carpet One in August 2004. During his career at DCO, he has managed each department within the flooring operation. In 2012 JR was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and in this role his duties included full financial responsibility for Dalton Carpet One and DCO Commercial Floors. At the end of 2018, JR and Curtis Blanton bought DCO from the estate of Mike Blanton, the founder of DCO. JR now serves as President of Dalton Carpet One, and he is also the President of the parent organization Blanton Allred Inc.

JR is married to Crystal Allred, who serves as Vice President of Dalton Carpet One. They have three children together — James (12), Benton (10) and Ava (8). JR is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located in Athens. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2013, and from Gainesville State College in 2008. He has attended the University of Georgia as well. JR is originally from Slidell, Louisiana, where he graduated from Slidell High School. He is currently an Eagle Scout and has served on many boards for various civic and industry organizations.
