“When designing this kitchen, our client was beginning construction on their new house and knew they wanted their home to be a gathering place for their family. They were starting with a blank canvas and were excited to make the space their own. One of their must-haves was an open concept so that their family feels connected no matter what part of the living space they are in.”

The Client
A couple with their multi-generational family in mind
The Design Story
Along with the desire for an open-concept kitchen, their wishlist also included a large island that would serve both as a gathering place for meal-time prep, afterschool activities with their grandchildren, as well as a serving area for entertaining friends. For the overall aesthetic, our clients were inspired by a distressed cabinet finish on display in our Dalton Carpet Showroom, along with a photo they found of contrasting drawer fronts. This unique touch was only one of many, that Rosemary incorporated into the design, adding character and charm to the space.
